Your role as Consultancy Unit Manager in the Information Management unit

We are looking for a Consultancy Unit Manager to lead our team that works with the production of foundational data. You play a crucial role in leading planning and ongoing work to collect and process information from various data owners and deliver information products that provide the Swedish Armed Forces' command support system with an overview of the environment. Our client expects us to have the ability to assess, evaluate, and optimize deliveries based on identified and emerging needs. You need to have a good ability to work both across systems and at a detailed level, with high demands for accuracy and security awareness.

Together with your colleagues in your unit, you collaborate with other Consultancy Unit Managers within the results unit to deliver what the client has specified. An important part of information production is good collaboration with the users of the Swedish Armed Forces' command support system. This collaboration involves active dialogue regarding requirements, formats, and content, as well as participation in testing and verification to ensure that the results of delivered information products meet the needs of the Swedish Armed Forces. Your unit is part of an established operation that works with high-quality products, continuous improvements, and has a high maturity level regarding work methods and roles.

As a Consultancy Unit Manager, you are responsible for your staff and are part of the management team of the results unit.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a relevant educational background and preferably experience or a good understanding of the needs and structure of the Swedish Armed Forces, as well as several years of work experience. You are comfortable working in a team and possess personal skills that support leading projects towards common goals. To succeed in this role, we see that you have a genuine interest in other people and their motivations.

You are perceived as naturally outgoing, engaged, and have an easy time building good relationships with those around you. You are attentive, interested in listening to your group, have a strong interest in leadership issues, and want to help develop your unit and Combitech into the best workplace. We place great importance on your personal qualities.

Since the position involves work that is subject to defense secrecy, you are required to undergo and be approved in a security clearance with a background check.
